A Week of Falco

A Week of Falco

To celebrate the 60th birthday of Austrian music legend Falco, the Red Bull Music Academy hosted “Junge Römer: Eine Woche Falco” at the end of January 2017 in Vienna. The week-long event started off at the Base Camp in Schloss Pellendorf, where numerous renowned national and international artists worked on remixes and new versions of Falco tracks. Among the guests were Carl Craig, Peter Kruder, Ogris Debris, Clara Moto and Matias Aguayo.

Thanks to Sony Music Austria, the original tracks of Falco’s most famous albums “Einzelhaft”, “Junge Römer” and “Falco 3” were available to the musicians. The artists thus had the opportunity to work creatively on Falco’s works in transient decadence and seclusion at Schloss Pellendorf. The event was completed with readings and lectures as well as concerts and club evenings in selected Viennese locations.
